SPRIND GmbH (SPRIND, us or we) processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). At this point we would like to inform you about the processing of your personal data by us in connection with your participation in the Venture SRPIND event.

II. Processing activities

  1. Invitation and participation management We process the personal data of participants provided during registration (in particular first name, surname, company/project, e-mail address) in order to organize the event and enable participation in our event. This also means that we can include the names of the participants, details of the company/project and e-mail address of the participants in a list of participants, which will be made available to the other participants of the event. We also provide name badges for participants before the event. The legal basis for the aforementioned data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b) GDPR. The personal data collected during registration will be deleted once the purpose of processing no longer applies, provided that there are no statutory retention periods to prevent deletion.
  2. Video, image and sound recordings Video, image and sound recordings are regularly made at our event for the purpose of event documentation and published in print media, press releases, social media channels or on the Internet. The legal basis for the processing in the aforementioned sense is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR, as the processing is necessary to safeguard our legitimate interests in the event documentation/follow-up (press and public relations work). We have not identified any overriding interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the participant as a data subject that require the protection of personal data. This is particularly the case as no individual persons are generally portrayed as part of the event documentation.

The video, image and sound recordings made for event documentation will be stored for a specific purpose, subject to objection by the participant concerned.
