SynBioBeta is the leading network for innovators and investors in synthetic biology, providing opportunities for professional development, partnerships and education. The Global Synthetic Biology Conference is held annually, showcasing breakthrough developments in biology.

At SynBioBeta 2025, SPRIND will be represented by Patrick Rose, who will lead two sessions on May 8. Added to this is an efficient economy characterized by small and medium-sized enterprises. On this basis, key technologies can emerge as pioneers for the world of tomorrow. InnoCON, as the leading innovation policy event of the Free State of Thuringia, is focusing on this topic this year.

In his keynote speech, Andreas Zaby, Innovation Manager at SPRIND, will explain to participants what SPRIND offers to support and finance breakthrough innovations. Afterwards, he will be available for discussions at the InnoMARKT.

The TI-SUMMIT brings together experts, companies and decision-makers to shape the future of the telematics infrastructure (TI) and the digital agency Gesundheit gematik GmbH. The focus is on topics such as ePA, e-prescription, TIM, KIM, TI connection, digital identities and research data. Top-class keynotes, discussions and workshops offer a platform for innovation and networking in digital healthcare.

SPRIND is represented by Dr. Torsten Lodderstedt as a driving force for pioneering technologies. As Lead Architect of the German EUDI Wallet project, he will speak about innovative digital identities and their significance for TI.

SPRIND at MACHN25! The festival for tech, business and art stands for Central German innovation, creativity and maker spirit - and offers founders, start-ups, companies and creatives a platform for supra-regional networking, knowledge transfer and inspiring exchange in the historic location of Leipzig's Baumwollspinnerei.

Thomas Ramge, host of the SPRIND podcast, will discuss live on site with Prof. Dr. Heidemarie Krüger, Head of the Quantum Detection Research Department at the Leibniz Institute of Photonic Technology (Leibniz IPHT), how a neuromorphic chip could support the industry. He will also talk to Markus Zweckstetter, research group leader, professor at the University of Göttingen and group leader at the German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases, about his promising Alzheimer's research.

The Spinoff Summit 2025 is an exclusive event for research-oriented founders and deep-tech innovators. Co-hosted by SPRIND, the event will bring together around 150 selected participants from across Europe to network with investors and experts, gain insights from successful spinoffs and discuss how more research can be translated into entrepreneurial solutions. The program includes workshops, 1-on-1 meetings, and a poster competition with the opportunity to win a ticket to the Falling Walls Conference, valued at €3,000.
