IP 3.0 TOOLKIT - PRACTICAL WORKSHOP

How can intellectual property (IP) from academia be transferred more quickly and in a legally sound way into spin-outs? The IP Transfer Toolkit from IP Transfer 3.0—a pilot project by SPRIND, Stifterverband, and Fraunhofer ISI—provides practical tools, guidance, and examples for this purpose.

Building on this, a hands-on workshop for founding teams will take place on June 22–23, 2026, in Frankfurt. Together with Christoph Seidenstücker (co-founder of Pixel Photonics and Refined Laser Systems), participants will work on real-world IP transfer cases and apply the tools of the IP Transfer Toolkit in practice.
