NETWORKING. SUPPORT. CHANGE.

Breakthrough innovations do not happen by itself – they require inspiration, exchange and a strong network. We bring together people who have the ambition to think big and want to create positive and long lasting impact.

SPRIND supports teams through training and development initiatives that build the entrepreneurial mind set as well as convey practical know-how. In addition, we also enable new formats of activating and developing the ecosystem for breakthrough innovations through personalized fundings and the domain-specific curation of coaching and mentoring formats.

In the longer term, we would also like to connect SPRIND alumni in order to help and support each other in their ambition to make a positive change in the world.

Breakthrough innovation thinking starts in the mind. Every breakthrough needs change – where ideas arise, and belief in oneself and the purpose requires strength, perseverance and resilience. The good news: It can be trained and developed. SPRIND brings like-minded people together and supports them on their journey to change the world—not only financially, but also with new approaches to talent and idea development and the curation of new topics or SPRIND Challenges.

Together with Deep Science Ventures (DSV), SPRIND is breaking new ground in talent development as part of the Venture Science Doctorate (DSV). DSV is an academically accredited sector-agnostic PhD program that integrates deep tech, impact and the founding process from the very beginning, thus contributing to building the essential capabilities in the ecosystem for breakthrough innovations.

BITS (Big if True)- Accelerator Program identifies, mentors and trains researchers to design and lead large-scale research programs, and take advantage of new philanthropic and public funding opportunities. The aim is to create spaces in which talents, ideas and capital come together effectively in order to rethink – beyond classic funding logics, institutions, disciplines, technologies and their impact – with a view to solving major societal challenges. The BiTS Accelerator was recently tested in collaboration with the British ARIA and is now available in a new form to movers from the SPRIND innovation ecosystem.

SPRIND Talentwerk provides advice and support in implementing the mentoring component as part of the SPRIND Challenges. This primarily involves advising on methodology and providing support in defining learning journeys. The formats are designed to turn a disjointed group of individual teams with high nerd factor into a mutually supportive group of ecosystem change makers who challenge the status quo and want to change the world for the better.
