Our international team is driven by a shared vision: to pioneer a novel generation of biochips set to unlock applications in research and diagnostics and thereby pushing the boundaries of personalised medicine to new heights. We recently secured significant funding by SPRIND - Germany’s Federal Agency for Disruptive Innovation to realize our ambitious growth trajectory and now aim to significantly expand our current team to support the at-scale commercialisation of our nanotechnology.

Role Overview:

Join us as a Microscopy Platform Developer (f/m/d) and be at the forefront of pioneering surface analysis technology. In our fast-paced startup environment, you'll lead the development of specialized microscopy platforms, focusing on versatility and ultra-high-throughput data generation in flowcells.

What you will do:

• Spearhead the innovation and creation of customized microscopy platforms for various surface analyses.
• Implement and refine a range of microscopy techniques, with initial projects involving TIRF, fluorescence microscopy, structured illumination super-resolution, and DNA PAINT.
• Oversee the generation and analysis of high-throughput data from a mix of custom and standard microscopes.
• Collaborate closely with a diverse team to advance DNA origami nanostructures for cutting-edge biochip and microscopy applications.

Requirements:

• PhD in Physics, Biology, or a similar discipline.
• Extensive experience with various microscopy techniques, especially in TIRF and super-resolution.
• Prior experience in designing microscopy platforms for different applications.
• Proficiency in high-throughput data analysis and a strong foundation in surface analysis.
• Outstanding collaborative skills, essential for working in an interdisciplinary team.
Preferred:
• Familiarity with DNA origami nanostructures and their application in biochip technology.
• An innovative spirit, with a history of tackling complex challenges and contributing meaningful solutions.
